How One Success Can Transform Generations

Posted:

United States, New York, New York - 08-15-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Who would have ever thought that a hit song from the late 1960’s would reinspire a generation? That is exactly what happened with Timmy Thomas’ hit song “ Why Can’t We Live Together” when Drake remixed it into his hit song “Hotline Bling.”

A hit all on its own, “Why Can’t We Live Together” was more than just a song to Thomas. “Why Can’t We Live Together” embodies the heart of all of Thomas’ music. Growing up during segregation in the United States to playing at Nelson Mandela’s first inauguration in South Africa, Thomas’ passion is to unite humanity not divide it.

On this week’s episode of Spark Stories, a weekly television series sharing the real stories of people just like you who found their spark and changed their lives as well as the lives of those around them- we share how Timmy Thomas has transformed his personal experiences of hatred and racism into a world-changing battle cry for his generation as well as the youth of today.

“‘Race. Human. Blood. Red. Why can’t we all just live together?’ that expression truly is the heart of all that Thomas does,” says Ali Craig host and executive producer of Spark Stories.

Timmy Thomas’ entire story is on the BRANDpreneur Network available on Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire, as well as on BRANDpreneur Life app available in the Google Play and IOS store.
