BALTIMORE- The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team kept a hold on the No. 7 spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III coaches' poll for the third-straight week, the organization announced Monday.
Salisbury (9-2) is coming off of two wins this week over Colorado College and Frostburg State University, increasing its winning streak to eight games since starting the season 1-2.
The Sea Gulls earned 260 points to stay ahead of No. 8 Lynchburg College by seven points.
The top five saw some movement this week as State University of New York at Cortland was the only team to hold onto its spot from last week, at No. 1. The final four spots changed as No. 2 Dickinson College, No. 3 Rochester Institute of Technology and No. 4 Washington College all moved up one spot after Stevenson University fell from No. 2 to No. 5, this week, after losing to No. 6 Tufts University.
Salisbury will be back in action on Saturday with Marymount (Va.) University coming to Sea Gull Stadium for a Capital Athletic Conference game, which is set for 3 p.m.
