SALISBURY, Md.- Police say a man faces burglary and related charges after entering a Salisbury home and stealing a beer from the refrigerator.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 21, a deputy responded to the 100 block of Roseberry Avenue for a reported burglary.
Police said the homeowner discovered that a man had entered her home and was rooting around in her refrigerator. The homeowner stated that man, later identified as 28-year-old Timothy E. Skinner, address unknown, wandered around the house some more before leaving on his own.
Authorities said the deputy located Skinner near the intersection of Roseberry Avenue and Old Ocean City Road. According to police, Skinner was in possession of a cold can of Coors Light he had taken from the victim's refrigerator.
Police said the deputy attempted to arrest Skinner but he began resisting and forced the deputy into a physical confrontation.
Skinner was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and resisting arrest. He was ordered held in the Wicomico County Detention Center in lieu of $75,000 bond.
