Find the Dancer Giveaway Rules

FOX21 will give away one Nintendo WII Player and Nintendo WII Game: Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party (with DDR Controller). Entries accepted Thursday, May 15 through 5pm on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Participants may enter by searching for the dancer icon on www.fox21delmarva.com, clicking on the icon and filling out the requested information (name, address, phone, email and birthday) or by sending a postcard with name, address, phone number and birthday to FOX21 Dancer Giveaway, 1729 N Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, MD 21801. FOX21 will hold a random drawing on or about Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 5:30pm. Winner will be announced on during the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance, Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 8:00pm-10:00pm. By registering you agree to all rules and terms of FOX 21’s So You Think You Can Find the Dancer Giveaway.

You must be 18 years or older and legal US residents to register and/or win.
You do not have to watch to win. Winners will be contacted by telephone.
You must register for the FOX 21’s So You Think You Can Find the Dancer Giveaway on www.fox21delmarva.com or by sending a postcard with name, address, phone number and birthday to FOX21 Dancer Giveaway, 1729 N Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, MD 21801. All entries must be received via e-mail or postal mail by 5:00pm on May 22, 2008..
Limit one entry per person per day during the term of the giveaway – May 15-22, 2008.
WBOC/FOX21 employees and immediate relatives are not eligible to participate.
Winners may be required to sign an affidavit as to eligibility and compliance with these rules and regulations, and a release in connection with your acceptance of the prize awarded.
Submitting an entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission of the sponsors to use your name, address, photograph or other likeness for advertising and promotional purposes.
No substitution or cash equivalents of the prize are permitted.
Contest rules may be revised or appended at any time.
Winners of any prize shall be required to execute a Waiver, Indemnification and Release prior to his or her receipt of such prize whereby he or she agrees, among other things: (1) for himself or herself and his or her heirs, personal representatives and assigns, to completely and forever release, waive and discharge Draper Holdings Business Trust, the sponsors, promotional partners, and advertising agencies involved with this Contest, and each such party’s respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, shareholders, directors, officers, agents, employees, successors, assigns, consultants and representatives (collectively, the “Indemnified and Released Parties”), from any and all claims, actions, costs, losses, expenses, demands, damages and/or other liabilities, known or unknown, absolute or contingent, and whether or not fixed, which he or she ever had, now has or might in the future have against any of the Indemnified and Released Parties, resulting in any manner from and/or by reason of his or her participation in this Contest and/or his or her receipt and use of such prize, including any future use; and(ii) to protect, indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Indemnified and Released Parties, from and against any and all claims, actions, suites, losses, costs, damages, liabilities and/or expenses of any nature whatsoever (including, but not limited to, the costs and expenses of experts, consultants and attorneys) arising out of or relating to: (a) his or her participation in this Contest; and/or (b) his or her receipt and/or use of such prize,including any future use.
Participating entrants agree that WBOC/FOX21, Draper Holdings Business Trust, the sponsors, their subsidiaries, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents and their employees are not liable for any injury or damage of any kind resulting from the entry of the sweepstakes including lost, misdirected, damaged, illegible or late entry forms.
The value of the Prize may be taxable as income to the winner of such Prize. Payment of any and all applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of each such winner, and each such winner will be required to complete a Form 1099 and/or Form W-9, or other equivalent form, as applicable, in accordance with applicable law. Each prize is valued at $370.
Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries.
The prize will be awarded from the random drawing unless the winner is found in violation of giveaway rules. Violation of these rules may subject you to disqualification from this Contest and cause you to forfeit any prize won by you. WBOC/FOX21 will audit the entries immediately following the registration period. WBOC reserves the right to reject a winner’s entry if it is determined the winner violated the rules of this giveaway as a result of the entry audit.
WBOC/FOX reserves the right to not re-award prize. WBOC/FOX21 also reserves the right to donate prizes, if not awarded, to a charity or person of WBOC/FOX21’s choice.
Any trademarks, tradenames, and/or tradestyles used in the Contest are the sole property of the respective owners of such trademarks, tradenames, and/or tradestyles and are used herein solely for identification purposes.
Proper identification in the form of a passport, driver’s license, or other form of government-issued picture identification must be presented to WBOC/FOX21 in order for a winner to claim a prize. No one may claim a prize other than the winner of such prize unless proof of handicap or hardship sufficient to WBOC/FOX21 is presented to WBOC/FOX 21. Prize must be claimed by appointment between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm on regular business days within thirty (30) days of the date, which the winner won such prize, at the business offices of WBOC/FOX21 located at 1729 N. Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, MD 21801. Winner is responsible for transportation of prize from this address. Unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited and not re-awarded. For purposes of this Contest, “business day” shall exclude Saturdays, Sunday, and officials holidays of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
Name of winner will be posted on www.fox21delmarva.com by May 23, 2008.
Viewers and members of their household who have won a prize on FOX21 or WBOC in the past six months are not eligible to participate.
